Here’s what it looks like:
The $250 hammer: it doesn’t have a security system, it doesn’t have gold inlay, and hell, it doesn’t even play MP3 files!
Called the Mini-14 TiBone and made by Stiletto Tools , a manufacturer of high-end (meaning expensive) tools since 1849, the TiBone’s claim to fame is that it’s made of titanium. According to Stiletto’s website, “Many people wonder why they should pay a premium for titanium hand tools. The answer is simple: 45% less weight while providing the same striking force and strength as steel. Titanium tools also produce 10 times less recoil shock. These features help reduce carpal tunnel syndrome and tennis elbow which means less down time, more productivity, and most importantly LESS PAIN while working.”
They forgot to mention that the head is magnetic to aid in starting nails.
And, it comes with a replaceable face. Once it’s all dented, you can get a new one for just $40.
I don’t know. . .I’m not convinced. Maybe if I win the lottery one day. And then, I want mine engraved!
