Here’s a house for someone with a lot (and I mean A LOT) of money.
The Neptus 60, designed by Naval Architect Giancarlo Zema, looks like something from a James Bond movie. His goal was to create a cliff-side living space in harmony with nature. And while it appears somewhat retro-futuristic, I think he’s succeeded.
The house consists of four sections:
(1) The top floor (250 square meters on two levels) is the living area: a living room with a terrace and 3 bedrooms (with bathrooms) that overlook the water.
(2) Go one structure down about you’ll find the observation deck with great views and a capsular layout. I can imagine many a party being held here . . .
(3) Next is the built in boat dock—which would come in handy when you needed to make a beer run during one of those parties.
(4) And lastly, we have my favorite part of the house: the underwater observation globe, complete with underwater lighting and diver lock-out features. I don’t know about you guys, but this would be my bedroom.
The geek in me says Giancarlo Zema’s inspiration for the design of this home-on-the-water is outer space – in the form of a popular 1960s TV show:
