Contest Time!32

Did you like our post yesterday about how to make a bluebird feeder

We’re wondering:  where on the web do you go to find good craft projects?

Not the big DIY-how-to-install-tile-backsplash/hardwood-floors/new dishwasher/closet shelving type posts, but the small projects that you do for fun, in your leisure, or with your kids?

What are your favorite “maker” blogs?

Please tell us in the comments below by  Friday, April 22.  We’ll choose one random reader who will get a $25 gift card from Home Depot and we’ll give a second $25 gift card to the craft blog that gets the most votes!

Don’t miss out!  Join previous winners Kelly Turner and Phyliss Horner and blog winners Casa Cullen and New Life on a Homestead. The next winner could be YOU!

Fine print:  Contest open to US residents only.

My favorite "maker" blogs are the ones that give step by step instructions that I can print to fix household items like a loose drawer, stuck window, problem with linoleum. abstractrose at yahoo dot com

I don't really have a favorite site for 'make-it' ideas. I am much more likely to have an idea of what I want to make, and then do a search for the design/how-to.

I do not really have a favorite, when I need to find a how to I usually google, and I hit some great sites. But me fixing things is a joke in itself! We are about to be doing a storm cellar, and I have a feeling by the time it is over ima wanna kill my husband!

My favorite blog with project ideas is Wee Folk Art! Their stuff is amazing, and definitely not just for kids. And I'm amazed at the generosity they show in offering so many free tutorials and patterns for really awesome project ideas (they could probably sell them and make lots of money off of them)!
