Cactus Designers, a group of French freelance designers based out of Lyon, recently combined efforts with Vaskéo to create some extraordinary sinks.
I particularly like the angular aspect of this first example. As a bathroom sink, it demonstrates form and function in a futuristic, isolated sort of way.
This next one – a little too much like Halloween. And even though that’s my favorite holiday, I don’t need to be washing my hands in a Jack-O-Lantern every day.
My very favorite piece from Cactus Designers isn’t a sink—though a sink would be necessary to prepare the final product with ingredients held in this:
Slim, elegant, and mounted discreetly – do you know what you’re looking at?
That’s quite the James Bond mini-bar, wouldn’t you say? Looks like Q made it himself! If Bond had one of these, I’m sure he would equip it to make his trademark martini.
And though I’m not a martini fan, I would have to make one, too—just to look cool. Then I’d go get a beer and go back to being myself.
