I have been watching Extreme Makeover for years; I started researching on google to see how some of the families are doing currently. I found this article and several other families that are facing foreclosures. It saddens me, because the community, businesses have gotten together to provide a better life for these families; it seams to me a slap in the face to see these homes go into foreclosure and have them up for sale.
Somehow Extreme Makeover needs to be some sort of agreement that the families can not mortgage the home; also find some way before the house is built that the family will be able to afford the upkeep, property taxes and utility bills.
